Bukky & Leke’s dazzling City Chic Wedding!
Very many congratulations to our gorgeous newlyweds Bukky & Leke who got married on Saturday 4th October 2014! Their entire wedding day was hosted at the glamorous Plateau London in Canary Wharf, which boasts an absolutely stunning backdrop with fabulous views for the ceremony. Guests then enjoyed watching the sunset whilst sitting down to the delicious wedding breakfast, and then dancing the night away with the city lights and stars glistening all around them.
Our beautiful Bride Bukky wore a stunning Anoushka G couture gown with feather detailing across the top and white orchids in her hair, topped off with a lovely veil with diamante embellishment. Her bouquet was made up of white roses, orchids and feathers with a bit of sparkle added by golden leaves hidden amongst the flowers. And our handsome Groom Leke wore a custom made green suit created by Mark Lord London.
For colours and theming they chose feathers and the lovely shades of a peacock which was incorporated into all the detailing and décor on the day! For their tables our wonderful Pem Izett designed elegant feather centrepieces using the turquoise, blue and green colours from peacock feathers. They also had peacock place cards which were hung from each glass, turquoise favour bags to add a hint of colour to the tables, and a light up table plan tree for a fabulous and unique touch!
The invitations featured their adorable son Sebastian and were designed by our wonderful Helena Gammon, and they also had a sweepstake for the best man’s speech for a bit of added entertainment for their guests. The fabulous Shalini at Lovely Cakes designed their wedding cake incorporating the colour scheme topped off with feathers for decoration!
